The Sochi Olympics ended yesterday with home team Russia scooping up the most medals. The Russians finished with a total of 33 Medals including 13 Gold Medals, 11 Silver Medals, and 9 Bronze Medals. Norway (26) and Canada (25) finished second and third respectively with the United States coming in fourth with a total of 28 Medals.

Another disappointment came in Ice Hockey; between the two teams the United States only came home with a Silver Medal. The Women's team took home the Silver Medal after losing a 2-0 lead and five minutes remaining; the American women's team surrendered its chance to win a second gold in women's hockey in Olympics history. The men didn't even place losing to Canada and then losing in a 5-0 shutout game vs. Finland.
