Friday night’s NBA Celebrity Game made history in multiple categories. For the first time in the game’s history a player scored 20+ points and this year’s MVP is a 3-Time Celebrity Game MVP. Comedian and actor Kevin Hart, who played for the West Team, was voted by the fans as the MVP of the game, making him the only celebrity to win the award 3 times, but humbly gave the award to East Player Arne Duncan.
Arne Duncan, Secretary of Education, was truly the games’ MVP scoring 20 points, NBA Celebrity game high, and recording 11 rebounds and six assists which led the East to a 60-56 victory over the West. Duncan’s play was highlighted with a behind-the-back pass to WNBA Star Skylar Diggans.
Duncan, who has played in the Celebrity game the past three years, said he was just happy to have helped his team to a win and that it was great that his family was there to share in the event.

Other notable stars in the game were actor/musician and former UCLA basketball player Romeo Miller, rapper Snoop Dogg, and actor Michael B. Jordan who led the East with 16 points and seven rebounds.
